Before filling Online Application Form for MD/MS/ PG Diploma/MDS Entrance Test-2013 you are requested to go through the instructions carefully and make sure that all the required documents are handy. Also make sure that printer is attached to your computer in order to print the confirmation page that is generated after the successful submission of the application form. Thanks!

  Application can be submitted Online during to (4.00 PM).  
  Application Forms of all in service doctors must be routed through concerned Director, Health Services Jammu/Srinagar, otherwise their Application Forms shall not be entertained  
 
Eligibility conditions for appearing in the Entrance Test
A candidate must:
  1. be a permanent resident of the J&K State.
  2. possess MBBS/BDS Degree or its equivalent Degree recognised by the University of Kashmir/Jammu and the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India;
  3. be registered with the MCI/DCI/State Medical Council/ State Dental Council;
  4. have completed satisfactorily one year pre-registration compulsory rotatory internship in a duly recognised institution as laid down by the University of Jammu/Kashmir for registration as a Medical/Dental graduate.
    Candidates who are likely to complete their rotatory internship and registration from MCI/DCI/State Medical/Dental Council upto date of counselling can also apply to appear in entrance test. However, if they do not submit certificate regarding their rotatory internship, registration from MCI/DCI/State Medical/Dental Council upto the date of counselling they will not be allowed to participate in the counselling.
  5. have valid Category Certificate from the prescribed Competent Authority (in case of candidate seeking selection under any reserved category) as required under rules.
  6. Non permanent resident Doctors having MBBS degree from J&K State and whose parents are presently serving in J&K state are eligible to appear in PG Medical Entrance Test in term of SRO 158 of 1995 as open merit candidates
  7. Sports category candidates shall be considered as Open Merit candidates if their Sports Points are not received from the J&K Sports Council till February 11, 2013.
  8. be eligible in terms of SRO 08 of 2005 (For those candidates only who have already done post-graduation or Diploma and want to undergo post-graduation in any other specialisation).
Other Conditions
  • Candidates claiming marks under SRO 401 dated 19-12-2009 should submit Difficult Area Service Certificate from respective Director, Health Services, Jammu/ Srinagar.
  • Candidates of reserved categories shall be treated as one unit in terms of Rule 15 of Reservation Rules 2005 for purpose of allotment of streams/ disciplines.
  • Candidates of the reserved categories who qualify for being placed in the open merit category by their performance in the Entrance Examination shall be allotted streams/disciplines in accordance with Rule 17 of the Reservation Rules, 2005.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for selection in the Postgraduate Degree and Diploma courses shall be: 50% for open merit category and 40% for all other reserved categories
NOTE:
  1. The candidates are hereby sternly warned not to resort to any unfair / fraudulent means or act of impersonation. In case a candidate is found taking recourse to such acts, criminal 3 proceedings shall be launched against him/her, besides debarring him permanently from appearing in the entrance examinations. Moreover, disciplinary action shall be recommended against the candidates who are in Government service, if they indulge in such practice
  2. If at any stage it is found that a candidate has given false or incorrect information in respect of any eligibility condition, his/her candidature will be cancelled without any notice.
  3. NO "UNDER PROCESS" CERTIFICATES WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN ANY CASE
  4. Application Forms/Confirmation Page of online forms received after the prescribed date through any mode including speed/ registered post, shall not be accepted. No Application Form will be accepted if sent through courier.
  5. Incomplete application forms shall be summarily rejected.
  6. No correspondence shall be accepted in case any application form is not entertained or is rejected for a valid reason.
  7. Details regarding available seats in Medical colleges/Dental College, eligibility criteria, Entrance Test, documents to be submitted, photographs etc. have been provided in the Information Brochure. The seats indicated in the Information Brochure are yet tentative and subject to the final approval from MCI/DCI/State Government as the case may be.

  Payment of Fee (1500 only for online forms and 1700 for printed forms) is to be made through Demand Draft drawn favoring of FA/CAO, BOPEE, Jammu/Srinagar.  
  Steps to be followed for the online submission of application forms
  • Keep your personal, academic, demand draft and other details ready/handy
  • Carefully fill the Application Form
  • Uplod the soft copy of your photo graph (optional)
  • Submit the Demand Draft Details
  • A Unique Registration Number will be automatically generated by the online system for each applicant
  • Note down this registration number for further reference and communication with J&K BOPEE
  • Take a Printout of the the Confirmation Page
 
 

Paste your recent passport size photographs (taken on or after ) with gum/fevicol (not to be pinned or stapled) in the specified box('es) of the confirmation page one duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate is studying/has studied or the Gazatted officer and other without attestation and send this Page along with Demand Draft and other documents mentioned below, by Registered/Speed Post (FORMS SENT THROUGH COURIER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) to The Controller of Examinations, The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, 4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza, Jammu-180012 or Bhagat-i-Barzulla, opposite J&K Bank Barzullah, Srinagar-190005. for further processing so as to reach latest by (4.00 PM). Any Application received after this date will not be accepted.

 
 

Please note that application of candidate not complying with these instructions or with unclear photograph is liable to be rejected.

 
  Candidates submitting applications online are required
  • to attach Demand Draft (Original) of the required fee.
  • to mention his/her Registration No., Name, and Address and Phone No. on the back of the Demand Draft
  • to attach the attested photostat copies of the following certificates:
    • Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation/Secondary School certificate) issued by a recognized Board.
    • State Subject Certificate/PRC
    • MBBS Degree Certificate/BDS Degree Certificate
    • Marks Sheets of:
      • 1st Professional
      • 2nd Professional
      • Pre-Final
      • and Final MBBS Examination/BDS Examinations
    • Documentary Proof of having completed one year pre-resignation compulsory rotatory internship in duly recognized Institution at the time of submission of the application form.
    • Registration Certificate from MCI/ DCI/ State Medical Council/ State Dental Council
    • Reserved Category Certificate and Certificate of Difficult Area Service under SRO-401 dated 29-12-2009 from the competent authority as prescribed under rules (Annexure-VI of the Information Brochure)
  • to retain a photocopy of confirmation page for future reference and the photo copy of the Demand Draft.
The processing of applications will begin only after receiving confirmation page, demand draft and other above mentioned certificates and documents.
Application received on 24th janauary 2013 should also be accompanied with the prescribed late fee of Rs 750/= in the form of a Bank Draft favouring FA/CAO, BOPEE. Thereafter no Online Application Form/Confirmation Page will be accepted.
